I am uniquely qualified to serve in this position as the daughter, granddaughter and niece of union members and a first-generation college graduate (B.A. from Mizzou!) who understands the challenges working families face. With 20+ years of experience working in education and as the parent of a current STLCC student I know firsthand the impact of strong community colleges.
- 25 years working in education, currently as a Parent Educator for the Kirkwood School District Parents as Teachers.
- Advocate for workforce preparedness and the availability of quality, affordable childcare.
- Promoted three times within 15 years working at WashU in accounting and leadership.
- Daughter, granddaughter and niece of union members.
- Graduate level, Advanced Certificate in Non-Profit Management, Washington University in St. Louis.
- Active community volunteer.
Holly's Priorities
Increase Dual Enrollment
Expand outreach to high school students, increasing dual enrollment in high-demand fields like EMT and nursing to jumpstart careers and reduce college costs.
Strengthen Partnerships
Strengthen partnerships with businesses, unions and industries to provide students with internships and apprenticeships.
Wraparound Services
Expand wraparound services such as childcare and food pantries to students in need.
